When you are 100
Need: paper, crayons, markers
Directions: 100 is a hard term for young children to grasp. One way you can try to start explain ins with the activity. Have the children draw what they think they will look like when they are 100 years old!

100 Day Wreath

Need: paper, glue, scissors, pencil, ribbon
Directions: Have your class (and other classes if you want) trace their hands on different colors of paper. Cut out the hands. If you are just doing this with your class have the children do this several times so you will have 100 hands. Then number the hands 1 to 100. As a class, starting gluing the hands onto a large paper circle with the center cut out. Start with 1. Count out loud as you glue the hands on. Keep layering the hands till you have all 100 on the wreath. Ad a ribbon bow and hang on your classroom door.
Optional: Ad a banner across the wreath that says happy 100th day!
